This is an image I captured in St. Ives in Cornwall. I loved the colours of the boats and this little child playing in the puddles and sand. St. Ives is truly a magical place for me. The small little streets, interesting shops and lovely restaurants and cafes make for an awesome stay.
The above colour grading was based on a scene in Blade Runner 2049. I have posted this one before with a different colour grading, but prefer this one.
Autumn is here and so are the crisp, misty mornings.
I took this a few years ago in Bristol, our favourite city in the UK. The people are so friendly and the region around it is beautiful. Maybe one day we will get to live there, but for now I will have to be happy with the few photos and the odd visit.
This was taken while on a cruise on Rutland water. The cruise lasts 45 minutes and is well worth it. The church is a popular venue for weddings and was saved when the reservoir was originally created. There is a fascinating back story too it, as the church was going to be flooded when the reservoir was constructed. There was a public outcry and a campaign was launched to save the building. Funds were raised and the lower part of the building was filled with rubble and a new concrete floor laid to be above water level. The church houses a museum with information on Rutland water, and is well worth a visit.
I took this photo in Fotheringhay not long after the sun set. I had a great time running onto an old narrow bridge, taking the photo and running off for on coming speeding traffic.
